Doha, Qatar – February 2024 – Dar Yema, located on the ground floor of Printemps Doha, recently unveiled its new menu with a memorable private dinner that took guests through a sensory journey to the culinary delights of Marrakesh, Tangiers and Alger.


An ode to Maghrebian taste excellence, this fine dining restaurant rooted in ancestral heritage retold with gastronomic talent is served in a refined setting. High ceilings, delicate artworks specially commissioned for Dar Yema, artfully decorated linens, cutlery, glassware and peaceful melodies from luth and oud musicians playing every Thursday: the omnipresent elegance combined with warm generosity all combine to offer the greatest enjoyment, perfectly illustrating the art of hospitality at the heart of Maghrebian culture, which will no doubt leave guests leave in wonderment.


The exceptional sensory journey start with Dar Yema’s new menu, that tells the tale of a traditional, family-style home-cooking cuisine, full of flavors and inspired by Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian refinement. Dar Yema offers nothing but tasteful discoveries and sensory delights. Dishes such as Dar Yema chicken pastilla, fish ball tajine with tomato, lamb tajine with prunes and apricots and beef couscous with tfaya onions and raisins bring you a new interpretation of Maghrebian cuisine based on the deep secrets of tradition.


Promising to take Maghrebian cuisine to new heights in Doha, Dar Yema is counting on Executive Chef Boulaayat Jaouad, former head chef at the iconic Royal Mansour in Marrakech, who worked with three Michelin stars Yannick Alléno and oversaw dinner events for the Moroccan Palace, cooking for dignitaries and Presidents alike, including former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Bringing out the best in ancestral recipes, handed down from generation to generation, while preserving their taste and authenticity, Executive Chef Boulaayat Jaouad, adds his personal touch to a menu soaked with flavorful dishes from the best in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
